Ryl Brock Wilson has supported dozens of creative women with deepening their connection to their creative spirit and bringing joy and peace into their lives through the creative process.
Ryl has a Masters in Transformative Arts degree from JFK University. She has studied the creative process with many teachers and they have led her through shamanic practices, dream studies, chi gong, process painting, and touch drawing.
As a Life Coach, Ryl received training in co-active coaching from professional and master coach, David Skibbins. Ryl considers coaching to be a spiritual practice and is honored by the intimacy and connection her clients are willing to share through the coaching relationship.
In the fields of transformation and spirituality, Ryl has studied with many teachers. She is a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition. She draws on wisdom within Buddhism, Sufism and Non-Violent Communication.
She is currently a student of the Diamond Approach, the work of A. Hameed Ali and the Ridhwan School for Spiritual Development. To support her spiritual growth, Ryl uses her art-making as a process of inquiry, one of the fundamental practices of the Diamond Approach.
As a transformative artist, Ryl works primarily with the visual arts – collage, painting, drawing, and sewing. She also weaves improvisation, dance, song and poetry in and out of her process.
Through her own experience and her work with others, Ryl has seen how regular art-making as a process of inquiry lets the insights, healing and growth flow into one’s life and bring more joy, ease and peace.
Ryl’s artwork is online within the gallery. It is shared with the intention to inspire you with your art-making and life journey.
