I looked up compassion at thesaurus.com and found the definition, tender feeling. Synonyms are benevolence, charity, clemency, commiseration, compunction, condolence, consideration, empathy, fellow feeling, grace, heart, humaneness, humanity, kindness, lenity, mercy, softheartedness, softness, sorrow, sympathy, tenderheartedness, tenderness, yearning. There is a lot here to look at, ponder, sit with and explore with art-making.
This month’s inquiry is “what is your experience of compassion? what is a practice of compassion?”
